Installing CATIA/DYNAVISTA and ExDB-V2 in Die Factories

Introduction
To achieve quality and speed of the same standard as the headquarter in Japan, the environment that is compatible with CATIA format is necessary. It is necessary to re-construct the traditional design environment from design system (CAD) to manufacturing system (CAM).
In Installation
With this installation, the factory enable to use CATIA product data directly from product design devision without any conversion, it also speeding up the development. Furthermore, we developed CATIA knowledge sharing system as well, even the newly engineering designer can opperate with a less mistake.
Besides, by installing ExDB Administrative server like Japan headquarter, preparing the developed environment to be the same standard as Japan.It is possible to arrange the huge die design data,designing the die in the short time and having the environment that enable to join designing with Japan easily.
In the production filed in Thailand, the production facility is different from Japan headquarter, it was necessary to prepare the CATIA production informations, transplanting the existing informations.With new DNC registration system, it enables to optimize the production data and also eliminating wasteful production activities.
Result
By preparing the equal design environment to Japan, the joint of die developement was possibly done. The design speed improved rapidly, production speed is similar to Japan, delivering the job timely.
